A charming enamel brooch modelled as a sailing boat, with a multi-coloured geometric sail in navy, red, orange, cream, grey and turquoise panels, all held within a gold-tone metal frame. The hull is rendered in dark enamel, and a small clear rhinestone sits at the waterline, adding a touch of sparkle. The piece is finished with a pin fastening on the reverse.

The design captures the spirit of mid-century decorative metalware, when enamelled brooches offered an accessible way to wear bold colour and pattern. The geometric sail compartments suggest an Art Deco influence, whilst the modest scale and cheerful palette make it equally at home with casual or vintage dress.
