A charming vintage Soviet-era brooch in the shape of a sailing galleon, with detailed sails, flags and black enamel portholes. Two swagged gold-tone chains and a dangling anchor charm give it a lovely nautical touch.
The reverse is stamped with the original Soviet price mark “40к” (40 kopecks) and a factory logo. It is made of gold-tone base metal and has a pin closure.
It’s in good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. A great piece for collectors of Soviet jewellery or anyone who loves maritime style!
About this piece
This delightful Soviet-era brooch captures the romance of the sea in miniature. The galleon is rendered with impressive detail: rigged sails, twin flags at the mast, and a row of black enamel portholes along the hull. Two graceful swags of twisted chain drape beneath, anchored by a small dangling anchor — a playful nod to maritime tradition.
