Vintage Sterling silver drop earrings with an oval faceted blue topaz in a bezel setting, inside an openwork Mackintosh/Glasgow-style frame with a leaf-bud top.
They have hook fittings, and each earring is stamped 925.
Length is about 3 cm.
They are in good pre-owned condition with light signs of wear.

About this piece
A pair of drop earrings in sterling silver, each suspending an oval faceted blue topaz in a neat bezel setting within an openwork frame inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s Glasgow Style. The leaf-bud motif at the crown is characteristic of Art Nouveau design, whilst the geometric void beneath speaks to early modernist sensibility. The stones catch light beautifully, and the design hangs just under 3 cm from ear to lobe.
Both earrings are stamped 925, confirming sterling silver. The hook fittings are secure and smooth. We find light surface wear consistent with gentle pre-owned use — the silver retains its lustre, and the topaz is clear and bright. These pieces suit both daywear and occasion, lending a cool, sophisticated line to the face. To maintain them, simply wipe with a soft cloth after wear and store in a dry place; avoid contact with lotions or perfume.
