Baltic Soviet Union vintage pins
About this piece
A collection of Soviet-era pins from the Baltic republics, each mounted on its original wire stem. The lot includes shields bearing regional and civic insignia, portrait badges, and institutional emblems—many in brass or bronze with enamel details. Several feature Cyrillic inscriptions or emblematic imagery (eagles, wreaths, architectural elements) typical of Soviet commemoration and official dress.
These pins reflect the aesthetic and historical character of Baltic Soviet life, from roughly the 1960s–1980s. A few show expected patina and surface wear consistent with age and occasional wear; others remain crisp. They are displayed here laid flat for examination, but each would traditionally have been worn on a lapel, uniform, or badge sash. Collectors of Soviet memorabilia, Baltic history, or Cold War-era insignia will find these authentic tokens of a specific time and place. A light dry brush or soft cloth will preserve them; avoid immersion.
