About this piece
A charming Soviet-era brooch in the form of two flowering stems, each crowned with a cluster of round stones set in brass with gold plating. The stylised botanical design is typical of mid-20th century Soviet costume jewellery, where folk motifs and nature-inspired forms were popular. The stones catch the light beautifully and appear to be paste or rhinestone, secured in bezel settings.
The brooch shows honest wear consistent with its age and use — the plating has mellowed and the surfaces carry the patina of decades, which adds to its authenticity and charm. The pin and clasp remain secure. A lovely example of Soviet decorative metalwork, suitable for daily wear or as a collectible piece.
